Disagree with my thoughts? Then by all means post your comments! But please do not start arguments or be obnoxious.
Also please note that Retro Tracks were not included when I picked my top 10, only the original MKWii tracks. That’s why no Retro courses appear on this list.

At Mario Heaven, there was a little competition planned for this morning called the Comet Cup. Shadowolf, the original host, couldn’t make it, so I decided to host the room. The idea is that there’s a pre-selected list of courses, and this time, it was a bunch of easy courses. Someone has requested I use Rosalina in the Jetsetter once again, so it worked out.
There’s another one at the same time tomorrow, at 11:00 AM Pacific Time (or 2:00 PM Eastern Time…or 7 PM Greenwich., with the same courses, if you’re interested. Of course, you’ll need my Friend Code first. It’s 3394 3959 5587, but be sure to contact me so I know you want to participate.
Race #1
N64 Mario Raceway
Mim (playing as Vivian) accidentally picked Random; this was supposed to be Luigi Circuit. I don’t mind though. Luigi Circuit is cliché. Here, I was off to a good start, but I fell behind due to other people’s clever use of Mushrooms and other speed boosters. Of course, I made good use of a Golden Mushroom I got. A consequence of short races with few obstacles is that everyone is close together, so it’s hard to have a clear winner. Anything could cause an upset.
Race #2
GCN Peach Beach
I don’t see this one very often. I happened to get Triple Mushrooms, so I tried the alternate path. To be honest, it isn’t very interesting, and I don’t know if it actually wastes me time. Does the Warp Pipe still work in this game?
Race #3
Mushroom Gorge
This course is frequently chosen by very aggressive drivers because of the high amount of jumps over pits; this is the course most likely to screw people up via a Lightning Bolt or a Blue Shell. The course, unfortunately, took KOK as a victim, though with no items I know of.
Race #4
Wario’s Gold Mine
I gained a substantial lead, then got blasted seemingly singlehandedly by Hook. Looks like everyone got their exposure here. I was hoping to place the Fake Item Box on the following cluster of real Item Boxes. The formation is just perfect–six bowling pins minus the front one. And we also get some more mysterious falling off at the end.
